XLD Team Series Draft

To compete in XLD Team Series events, players are entered via an XLD Draft System. This inaugural event will consist of (2 to 4) 4-man teams drafted and coached by (2 to 4) Team Captains. The balance of the draft pool will be considered alternates to be called up in the event a chosen player is unable, or otherwise found to be ineligible for competition. Whether there are 2 or 4 teams will depend upon participation in this draft.

This Inaugural Event Is Not A Wagering Event

This second XLD Team event will not be a wagering event, but rather a test of the system and technology to be utilized for future events. 

Eligibility For Draft

Any player who competes or desires to compete at the professional level in our sport. 

Future event requirements (not this one) will include: testing for illegal performance enhancing substances; the players reputation in the sport; and the player's ability to support and promote the XLD Team Series. 

Purse

There will be a purse for the event. All Players and Team Captains will be paid. There will be a Team payout as well as an overall winner payout. The total amount of the purse will be announced prior to the event. (Minimum purse $5,000 USD with full field of 2 teams - $10,000 for a full field of 4 teams)

Registration Fee

There will be a $500 Registration fee per player for this event.

Event Format

Head-to-head double elimination format seeded by draft results.

By way of this application, players:

1.  Confirm their availability to compete on the date specified

2. Agree to abide by the Rules and Policies set forth by the LDF (Long Drive Federation), ULD (Ultimate Long Drive, Inc), PLN (Pro League Network). 

3. Agree to support and promote the XLD Team Series in all available socials, and media opportunities. 

We will redraft each event for the first few events.
